People with at least five years of teaching experience and a degree in any field, as well as those with post-graduate degrees in multimedia arts, are eligible to apply for the course, the university said.
An application and a recommendation letter from a headmistress or headmaster must be submitted to township education offices before December 24.
Applicants must choose their subject based on their specialisation. Those having degrees in psychology, philosophy, law, and oriental studies will have to apply for Myanmar, English, Maths, or other arts subjects, it said.
The entrance examination will be held at exam centres in the states and regions on February 3, 2020.
U Nyi Nyi Naing, chair of the Private School Teachers Association, has said that tens of thousands of private school teachers do not have government certification.
