MFF President U Zaw Zaw inspects the construction of futsal stadium at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon on 16 December. 

President of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) U Zaw Zaw yesterday inspected the work of planting new grass and construction of a futsal stadium and training playground at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, according to the official website of the football federation.U Kyaw Lin Htwe, in-charge of the MFF turf, explained the growing of new grasses at the stadium.

U Zaw Zaw instructed that new grasses be planted in accordance with international standards, international competitions be hosted, and an all-round renovation of the stadium be undertaken as it is the only stadium being maintained by the MFF and it is where the Myanmar National League and other competitions are being held.

The MFF president also inspected the construction site of the Futsal Indoor Stadium near Thuwunna Stadium. Aided by FIFA, the Futsal Indoor Stadium is being constructed by the Suntac Company, and is targeted to be completed in September, 2020.
He also inspected the construction of a training playground at the stadium, and instructed the related officials to provide services so that training can be conducted with convenience.

The MFF is constructing a new training ground as it has only two training grounds, No.1 and No.2, and so that the teams of the MNL and international teams can train.
